BMS Integrated Services Inc. is a leading Systems Integrator providing design and deployment of integrated security technologies including CCTV, card access and perimeter intrusion. Our continued growth has produced a need for additional staff sales and technical staff.

Current Positions


Job Title: Security Technician
As a security technician for BMS Integrated Services Inc., you will be a key member in delivery integrated security solutions to our clients. This person is team oriented and customer focused with proper qualifications and field experience.

Duties:

  1. Installation and maintenance of security systems including CCTV, Access Control, Automated Gates and Intrusion Detection.
  2. Installation /service duties include pre-wiring, installation, programming, commissioning and trouble-shooting.
  3. Provide basic customer training for proper system usage. Respond to customer technical Inquiries.
  4. System design and layout. Knowledge of cad or visio would be an asset.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required including complete and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications:

  1. Post-secondary training in electronics or equivalent, and 2 years industry experience.
  2. Experience with CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion Alarm systems.
  3. Must be knowledgeable of low voltage, certification preferred.
  4. Proven Skills or experience with computers and networking.
  5. A valid driver's license, without restrictions, is required for this position.
  6. Ability to work independently on customer site.
  7. Proven interpersonal skills with customers or prospects.

Job Title: Sales Representative
The successful candidate will expand customers' perception of BMS Integrated Services as total electronic security provider. This will be achieved by becoming competent in all BMS offered access control and CCTV lines. You will display a proven ability to develop, manage and close security system sales to corporate, industrial and public sector markets. Strong prospecting skills to generate new business opportunities is critical to the success in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish contact with prospects by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and utilizing outlined business strategies.
  • Provide customers with on-site survey consultation, develop professional quotation and presentation skills and provide system specifications and project coordination so as to best achieve the required sales objectives.
  • Exceed sales plan objectives.
  • Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog that will support achieving the designated sales plan.
  • complete all required sales reports and sales related activities in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • 1 - 5 years industry sales experience in the security industry.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills as well as a proven sales track record.
  • Must possess the ability to make group presentations.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team or independently on projects from start to finish.
  • Must understand both security technologies and computer networking.
  • Computer proficiency is a requirement.
  • Must have the ability to close sales and handle a variety of situations encountered during the sales process.
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to learn quickly.
