Job Title:
Security Technician
As a security technician for BMS Integrated Services Inc., you will be a key member in delivery integrated security solutions to our clients. This person is team oriented and customer focused with proper qualifications and field experience.
Duties:
- Installation and maintenance of security systems including CCTV, Access Control, Automated Gates and Intrusion Detection.
- Installation /service duties include pre-wiring, installation, programming, commissioning and trouble-shooting.
- Provide basic customer training for proper system usage. Respond to customer technical Inquiries.
- System design and layout. Knowledge of cad or visio would be an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required including complete and accurate paperwork.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary training in electronics or equivalent, and 2 years industry experience.
- Experience with CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion Alarm systems.
- Must be knowledgeable of low voltage, certification preferred.
- Proven Skills or experience with computers and networking.
- A valid driver's license, without restrictions, is required for this position.
- Ability to work independently on customer site.
- Proven interpersonal skills with customers or prospects.
